What is Garmin BaseCamp?
Garmin BaseCamp is an application that enables users to interact with Garmin's map products and manage geographic data. The software offers a range of functionalities, allowing users to transfer data to and from their Garmin devices, create and edit waypoints, routes, and tracks, and locate various geographic features, such as addresses, points of interest, and public land survey areas, within their detailed map data. BaseCamp also provides the ability to view map data in both 2D and 3D formats, including topographical information, and to geotag photos with geographical location data. Additionally, users can print detailed topographical maps, PLS quads, and multi-page poster maps, as well as download and view BirdsEye satellite imagery and topographic raster maps. The software also supports the import and viewing of Garmin Custom Maps, and enables the creation, sharing, and downloading of Garmin Adventures
