What is GCstar?
GCstar is a robust and versatile application designed to meticulously organize and manage a wide range of personal collections, including DVDs, Blu-rays, video games, and more. This free, open-source software empowers users to effortlessly catalog and track their diverse holdings, leveraging the power of the internet to automatically retrieve detailed information about each item. Beyond simply listing the contents, GCstar allows users to store additional relevant data, such as the location of each piece or details about past lending. The software's powerful search and filtering capabilities enable users to quickly and easily locate specific items within their collections, streamlining the management process. Originally developed by Tian until 2016, the project has since been continued by Kerenoc, who has established a GitLab repository to facilitate ongoing development and ensure the availability of the source code
