What is gFTP?

gFTP is a free, open-source file transfer client designed for Unix-based systems. It supports a variety of protocols, including FTP, FTPS (control connection only), HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, and FSP, as well as FTP and HTTP proxy server support. gFTP enables FXP file transfers, allowing users to transfer files between two remote servers via FTP. The application can handle various directory listing styles, including UNIX, EPLF, Novell, macOS, VMS, MVS, and NT (DOS), and provides a bookmarks menu for quick access to frequently used remote sites. The software is fully internationalized, catering to users worldwide
