What is Globulation 2?

Globulation 2 is a unique Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game that streamlines gameplay by automatically assigning tasks to units, reducing the need for extensive micro-management. Developed as Free Software and distributed under the GNU General Public License, Globulation 2 introduces a novel approach to the RTS genre. Players can choose the number of units to allocate to various tasks, and the units will endeavor to fulfill the requested assignments. This allows players to effectively manage a larger number of units and focus on strategic decision-making rather than tedious micro-control. The game also incorporates AI capabilities, enabling single-player modes as well as any combination of human and computer-controlled teams. Globulation 2 further offers a scripting language for customizable gameplay and tutorials, along with an integrated map editor. Players can experience the game in single-player mode, through local network, or online via the Ysagoon Online Gaming (YOG) platform
