What is GMX?
GMX Mail is a free webmail service provided by the German-based company GMX (Global Mail Exchange). Each GMX account includes an email address as well as a Mail Collector, Address Book, Organizer, and File Storage. Users can register up to 10 individual GMX email addresses within a single account. The service offers 5 GB of email storage, 2 GB of File Storage, file sharing capabilities, and virus and spam protection. "Drag and Drop" functionality is available for files and emails. GMX Mail also includes a push mail service to feed other third-party addresses, such as Gmail, into the GMX inbox. Users can access an Address Book, utilize Black-and whitelist functions, and integrate with mobile devices. The service supports POP3, SMTP, and IMAP protocols, and provides a calendar feature. Additionally, users can directly log in to Facebook using their registered GMX login and password.
