What is GNU Gluco Control?

GNU Gluco Control (ggc) is a Java-based open-source application designed to assist individuals in managing their diabetes. It supports a diverse range of diabetes devices, including over 40 meters, pumps, and continuous glucose monitoring systems (CGMSes). The application is designed to run on any desktop operating system that can support Java 1.5 or later versions. It provides users with comprehensive features, including detailed reports, graphs, and statistics to help them effectively monitor and control their diabetes. The application stores data in an internal database, but users also have the flexibility to switch to an external database of their choice, as long as it supports JDBC connectivity. The developers of GNU Gluco Control (ggc) are committed to continuously expanding the supported device list and adding new functionalities based on user feedback and requirements. Additionally, the application is currently available in 4 languages, and users are encouraged to contribute translations to make it accessible in their preferred languages
