What is GnuPG?
GnuPG, also known as GPG, is a command-line tool that allows users to encrypt and sign their data and communications. It features a versatile key management system and provides access modules for various public key directories. The tool can be easily integrated with other applications, and a wealth of front-end applications and libraries are available. Version 2 of GnuPG also offers support for S/MIME, and there are dedicated versions for Windows (GPG4Win) and macOS (GPGTools)
