What is Go-oo?

Go-oo was a comprehensive office suite built upon the foundation of OpenOffice.org, offering enhanced functionality and improved support for various file formats and features. Its key capabilities included better Microsoft binary file compatibility, enhanced Excel macro (VBA) support, support for SVG import filters, improved EMF rendering, 3D transitions within presentations, and rich fields support. Recognizing the shared goals and philosophy with the LibreOffice project, the Go-oo project has been in the process of merging its patches and migrating to the Document Foundation infrastructure. Going forward, the Go-oo project will be discontinued in favor of the continued development and support of LibreOffice
