What is Google Images?

Google Images is a comprehensive image search service that allows users to search the web for visual content. The search functionality is based on various image metadata, including file names, linked text, and surrounding text. When searching, users are presented with thumbnail results, which can be clicked to display the full-sized image within the context of the original website. Beyond the standard image search capabilities, Google has expanded the service to include voice and visual search options. Users can now search by uploading an image or providing a URL, and the system will analyze the visual content to identify related images, landmarks, and other relevant information. This expanded search by image feature is being rolled out in 40 languages, and browser extensions are planned to enable right-click search functionality across the web
