What is Gudak?

The Gudak Cam is a unique photography app that aims to capture the nostalgic experience of using a traditional film camera. Unlike conventional digital cameras, the Gudak Cam is designed to limit the number of shots per film to 24, requiring users to thoughtfully compose each image. After using up the film, users must wait 1 hour before they can charge or re-shoot. Additionally, users can only view the developed photos 3 days later, a feature intended to transform short-term memories into long-term recollections. The app's creators have intentionally stripped away many of the standard digital camera features, such as instant review and a comprehensive viewfinder, in order to recreate the in-the-moment experience of analog photography.
