What is guibber?

guibber is a social, geolocation application that allows users to safely share their real-time location with their friends, family, coworkers or anyone else of their choosing who has an Android smartphone. The app provides users with complete control over their location-sharing preferences. guibber's new Guide Me feature functions like a Star Trek tricorder, displaying an arrow on the screen that points the user directly to another person's location and updates in real-time, making it easy to find someone in a crowd or at a crowded event. Users can also set markers to save and share locations, such as where they parked their vehicle, their favorite fishing spot, or any other important place. To address battery drain concerns common with GPS apps, guibber includes an easy-to-use On-Off Toggle Widget that can be placed on the user's home screen, allowing them to turn the app on and off with a single click. guibber is suitable for both personal and business use, and while currently free to download, may require a paid subscription in the future. The app provides detailed real-time information, including speed, altitude and more, without any advertisements
