This software keyboard provides a familiar layout for Android users accustomed to the computer keyboard experience. It includes separate number keys, punctuation in the usual locations, and arrow keys, replicating the functionality found on traditional computer keyboards. The keyboard is based on the AOSP Gingerbread soft keyboard, enabling support for multitouch input on the modifier keys The keyboard is particularly useful for users of the ConnectBot SSH access application, as it offers working Tab, Ctrl, and Esc keys, as well as essential arrow keys for devices without a trackball or D-Pad, such as the Xoom tablet or Nexus S
