What is HardenedBSD?

HardenedBSD is a security-enhanced fork of FreeBSD, founded in 2014 by Oliver Pinter and Shawn Webb. The project aims to implement a range of exploit mitigation and security technologies on top of the FreeBSD operating system. HardenedBSD began with a focus on implementing Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR), and has since expanded to incorporate additional exploit prevention techniques
