What is HDHacker?

HDHacker is a versatile micro-utility that enables users to save, visualize, and restore critical disk sectors, including the Master Boot Record (MBR) from physical drives and the Boot Sector from logical drives. This standalone tool provides the capability to access and manipulate specific sectors of any disk, including removable storage devices. One practical application of HDHacker is the ability to save and restore boot managers, such as LILO, prior to installing a new Windows operating system, which typically overwrites the existing boot configuration
