    Heimer is a desktop application that enables users to create mind maps and other relevant diagrams. Designed for Linux and Windows platforms, the application is built using the Qt framework, providing a straightforward user interface for efficient diagramming. With features such as easy zooming, saving and loading in the XML-based .ALZ file format, exporting to PNG images, and support for quickly adding node text and edge labels, Heimer offers a seamless experience for users to construct and manage their visual representations. The application also boasts full undo/redo functionality, an adjustable grid, and translations in multiple languages, including English, Finnish, French, and Italian. Importantly, Heimer is available at no cost, ensuring accessibility and long-term sustainability for users
