What is Hekapad?

Hekapad is a free, fully-featured, and lightweight text editor for Windows. It offers a set of advanced capabilities that enhance the traditional Notepad experience. The application automatically generates backup copies of open documents to prevent data loss if the application is not properly closed. This backup process runs silently in the background, ensuring that users can retrieve any unsaved work. Upon launching Hekapad, the software checks for any lost documents and prompts the user to restore them, further safeguarding user content. Additionally, Hekapad provides an import tool that allows users to easily append plain text files to their current document, enabling the seamless consolidation of multiple text sources into a single file
