What is higan?
higan is a versatile Nintendo multi-system emulator that supports a wide range of classic gaming platforms. Formerly known as bsnes, the project was renamed after expanding its capabilities to cover multiple console systems beyond the Super Famicom. Developed since 2004, higan currently emulates the Famicom, Super Famicom, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo DS, as well as additional subsystems like the Super Game Boy, BS-X Satellaview, and Sufami Turbo. This comprehensive emulation solution enables users to faithfully experience a diverse collection of historic Nintendo games on modern devices
