What is I2P?
The I2P network offers robust privacy protections, enabling users to conduct various activities anonymously that would otherwise risk their privacy on the public internet. It provides a secure, distributed, and dynamic communication layer for identity-sensitive applications, with all data wrapped in multiple layers of encryption. The network has no reliance on trusted parties, ensuring a high degree of confidentiality. Users can access a range of applications that seamlessly integrate with the I2P network, including mail, peer-to-peer, and IRC chat services. Additionally, the community has developed alternative I2P client implementations, such as i2pd written in C++, Kovri (a fork of i2pd) for the Monero cryptocurrency, and Go-I2P developed in the Go programming language, providing users with more options beyond the main Java-based client
