What is Icaros?

Icaros is a collection of lightweight, high quality, Windows Shell Extensions capable of providing Windows Explorer thumbnails for essentially any video media filetype. Icaros can generate thumbnails for popular video formats such as Mkv, Flv, Avi, Mp4, Mov, Rmvb, M2ts, Ogm, and more, by utilizing the FFmpeg media framework. Users can expand the range of supported file types by adding their desired extensions to the optional filetypes box and re-activating Icaros
