What is Imgseek?
The imgSeek project is a collection of free and open-source tools for visually searching through a library of images. The software allows users to find images based on visual similarity, either by providing a rough sketch or by selecting an existing image from the collection. Key features include the ability to cluster photos by similarity, color, date, or other metadata for easy browsing, as well as advanced image transformation and album generation capabilities. The command-line utility enables automated scanning, querying, and metadata extraction, making it suitable for integration into cron jobs or other automated workflows. With support for EXIF and IPTC data, custom metadata fields, and powerful keyword search, imgSeek provides a comprehensive solution for organizing, browsing, and retrieving images from a personal or shared collection
