What is Instantbird?

Instantbird is an instant messaging client that is built upon the Mozilla XULRunner platform and the open-source libpurple library, which was created by the software developers behind Pidgin. This versatile application offers over 250 add-ons that allow users to customize their experience and expand the functionality of the program.
