What is iwScanner?

iwScanner is a wireless scanner for Linux that provides an intuitive graphical interface. Developed using Glade and Python, the application only requires PyGTK to run on any Linux environment. For the scanning functionality, iwScanner utilizes the Wireless Tools, meaning that users with the iwlist command already have the necessary components to get started
