What is JLatexEditor?

JLatexEditor is a cross-platform open source LaTeX editor that creates a unique development environment for users by integrating many tools needed to write LaTeX documents. The editor is highly configurable, allowing users to tailor the interface and functionality to their specific needs. While the editor is well-tested on Linux and Mac OS X, it is currently in a pre-alpha stage for Windows and should be considered for experimental use only
