What is K4DirStat?
K4DirStat, the successor to the former KDirStat, is a compact utility program that provides a comprehensive overview of disk usage for directory trees, similar to the functionality of the Unix 'du' command. The application presents the disk space consumption of a directory tree both numerically and through intuitive graphical visualizations. Beginning with version 3.0, K4DirStat requires the KDE Framework 5, while versions ranging from 2.7.0 to 3.0.0 (exclusive) are compatible with KDE 4
