What is KGet?

KGet is a download manager designed for the KDE desktop environment. It can be used as the default download manager for the Konqueror web browser, and it also integrates with the Mozilla Firefox web browser. KGet is part of the KDE Network package and supports downloading files from a variety of sources, including FTP, HTTP(S), and BitTorrent.
