What is kicom?
KicomAV is an open-source antivirus engine developed in Python that detects and disinfects malware. Designed under the GPL v2 license, the tool has been in development since 1995, with an earlier version integrated into the ViRobot engine of HAURI in 1998. The current iteration, written in Python, encourages participation from the community, allowing developers to contribute to its ongoing development
