What is Kompare?
Kompare is a graphical user interface (GUI) tool that facilitates the comparison and merging of source files. Designed for developers, Kompare enables users to view differences between two text files or directories, and provides a visual interface for managing these differences. As part of the KDE Applications suite, Kompare is primarily used on Linux and other Unix-like operating systems, as well as Windows. While Kompare does not compute the differences between files itself, it serves as a front-end to the command-line diff utility, providing a more user-friendly and interactive experience for managing file comparisons and merges
