What is LeechBlock?

LeechBlock is a free browser extension that empowers users to regain control over their time by blocking access to websites that can potentially distract them from their work or personal tasks. This simple yet powerful tool allows users to specify which websites to block, and when those blocks should be in effect. Users can create up to six different sets of blocked sites, each with its own unique schedule of time periods, time limits, or a combination of the two. For example, users can choose to block certain social media or entertainment sites from 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays, or limit their access to 10 minutes per hour during those times. The lockdown feature provides an immediate and temporary block on selected sites, while the option to set a password or random access code can help deter users from disabling the extension during moments of weakness
