What is LockOnMe?
LockOnMe is a versatile location-sharing app that allows users to display their position and Points of Interest on OpenStreetMap and engaging radar interfaces, including a "Motion Tracker" inspired by the popular film Aliens2. The app offers flexible broadcasting options, enabling users to share their location over the internet using a unique Target ID and Tracking Code combination or send a text message with their fixed position via SMS, which can then be processed and displayed on a map - a useful feature for conserving roaming data or internet access. Notably, the app has been designed with a strong focus on user privacy, as it never stores or accesses personal information such as names, phone IDs, or social network data, unless the user chooses to use their full name as their Target ID, in which case the Tracking Code is still required for tracking
