What is Marker.to?

Marker.to is a web-based annotation tool that allows users to highlight and annotate text on any webpage. After installing a browser extension or bookmarklet, users can simply click the Marker.to icon to begin highlighting and annotating content on the current webpage. The highlighted and annotated version of the page is then given a unique URL (e.g., http://marker.to/XYZ123) that can be shared via social media, email, instant messaging, or bookmarking tools like Delicious. Importantly, the highlighted and annotated content can be viewed by others using any web browser, without the need for the original browser extension or bookmarklet
