What is MAXS?

MAXS is an Android app that enables users to remotely control their device and receive notifications through the use of the XMPP protocol. With MAXS, users can, for instance, compose and send SMS messages from their desktop or laptop computer by issuing commands over XMPP to the MAXS app running on their smartphone. Designed with a focus on user privacy and choice, MAXS utilizes a modular architecture, where the functionality is divided across distinct components - Modules, Transports, and the main MAXS application. Modules provide the notifications and command capabilities that are exchanged between MAXS and the user through various Transports. The main MAXS application serves as the glue that interconnects the Modules and Transports, facilitating the seamless interaction between the user's devices
