What is Mcomix?
MComix is a versatile image viewer designed to cater to the specific needs of comic book enthusiasts, while also serving as a generic viewing solution. This application can seamlessly handle a wide range of image formats, including those commonly associated with comic books, such as ZIP, RAR, 7Zip, and tar archives, as well as standard image files. Developed using the Python programming language and the GTK+ toolkit with PyGTK bindings, MComix is compatible with both Linux and Windows operating systems, ensuring broad accessibility. Initially forked from the Comix project, MComix aims to build upon its predecessor by introducing bug fixes and enhancing overall stability, particularly after the discontinuation of Comix development in late 2009
