What is Micropolis?

Micropolis is an open-source city-building simulator game that allows players to construct and manage their own virtual cities. It is based on the original source code of the classic SimCity game, which was donated to the One Laptop per Child (OLPC) project by Electronic Arts. The game is available for free under the terms of the GPLv3 license, enabling users to modify and distribute the software as they see fit
