MP3Stego is a versatile software tool that allows users to conceal information within MP3 audio files during the compression process. The data is first compressed, encrypted, and then seamlessly integrated into the MP3 bit stream, making it virtually undetectable to the casual observer. While primarily designed for steganographic applications, MP3Stego can also serve as a lightweight copyright marking system for MP3 files, providing a more robust solution than the standard MPEG copyright flag
