What is nessViewer?

nessViewer is the comprehensive media application that allows users to edit, browse, collect and arrange, present, transfer, and stream a wide range of media. It combines the functionalities of a media player, media center, media server, media editor, and preview tool, enabling users to manage all their media needs within a single application. The application supports various media types, including DVDs, pictures, movies/videos, media shows (storable playlists), and portable documents (PDFs). Users can play movies and videos in all common formats, such as AVI, DivX, MKV, and MPEG4, through the QuickTime extensions Flip4Mac and Perian. Furthermore, nessViewer allows users to access and manage media from other sources, such as EyeTV movies, Aperture and iPhoto images and videos, iTunes media (including bought or rented movies with DRM), and Miro video podcasts (RSS)
