What is NirLauncher?

NirLauncher is a comprehensive collection of over 200 portable freeware utilities for Windows, all of which have been developed for the NirSoft website over the past several years. The suite allows users to easily incorporate the SysInternals Suite, a set of advanced Windows tools, into the NirLauncher package. However, it is important to note that some of the tools included in NirLauncher may pose a security risk if used without the consent of the PC owner. Certain utilities have the ability to read system passwords, such as dial-up passwords, which are typically not easily accessible and hidden from the user. Many antivirus vendors classify these tools as "riskware" or "hack tools." While downloading and running these tools does not cause any direct harm to the PC, they could potentially be misused for malicious activities by other users of the PC or during remote attacks. As a precaution, it is recommended to delete the tools listed in the "Password Recovery Utilities" section from the file system, as they are likely to be detected and quarantined by antivirus programs with on-access scanners upon installation
