What is Odin 2?
The Odin 2 is a versatile 24-voice polyphonic software synthesizer that offers a diverse range of synthesis capabilities. Designed as the successor to the original Odin, this open-source, cross-platform synthesizer provides users with a comprehensive suite of tools and features to create a wide array of sound textures and timbres. At its core, Odin 2 combines subtractive-style synthesis with eleven different oscillator modules, allowing users to shape and sculpt their sounds with precision. The synthesizer also boasts three high-quality analog filter emulations, including the renowned Ladder, KRG-35, and SEM filters, further expanding the sonic palette. Additionally, Odin 2 incorporates a suite of built-in effects, including delay, phaser, flanger, chorus, distortion, and reverb, enabling users to enhance and refine their sonic creations. The flexible routing system, four ADSR envelopes, four LFOs, and a modulation matrix provide ample opportunities for complex sound design. The inclusion of an XY-pad and an arpeggiator further enhances the synthesizer's capabilities, while the preset library and microtuning support (in .kbm and .scl formats) offer a wealth of creative possibilities
