What is OMeR?
OMeR is a printed music recognition add-on that seamlessly integrates with the Melody Assistant or Harmony Assistant applications. This innovative tool allows users to simply insert a printed page of music into a scanner, launch OMeR, and then edit or listen to the tune using the Melody or Harmony Assistant software. From a scanned score image, OMeR will automatically locate and identify various music symbols, generating a document that is then loaded directly into the Melody or Harmony Assistant. The application can handle multi-page documents, and users have the ability to intervene in the recognition process to ensure accurate identification of specific symbols
