What is OptMeowt?

OptMeowt is a browser extension that enables users to send Do Not Sell signals to websites they visit, in compliance with the Global Privacy Control draft specification and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) regulations. The extension automatically transmits Do Not Sell signals to all domains a user visits, allowing consumers to exercise their right to opt-out of the sale of their personal information. While the CCPA mandates that California residents' Do Not Sell signals must be respected, many companies honor these signals regardless of the user's location
