What is Painkiller ?

The Painkiller series is an exhilarating first-person shooter that captures the essence of classic titles like Quake and Doom. Across the various installments, players embark on an adrenaline-fueled journey, tasked with slaughtering hordes of monsters and traversing diverse environments. Each chapter of the series presents players with approximately five levels, where the objective is to reach the end by eliminating hundreds of foes. The levels feature a remarkable range of settings, from imposing castles and mystical monasteries to eerie graveyards and the bustling streets of Venice. Complementing the fast-paced combat are the game's unique mechanics. Players can collect "tarot cards" by completing special tasks in each level, granting temporary bonuses such as powered-up weapons or slow-motion effects. Additionally, the series offers a robust multiplayer experience, including classic modes like Deathmatch and Capture the Flag
