What is pianobar?
pianobar is a free and open-source, console-based application that serves as a replacement for the Flash-based Pandora player. This lightweight and efficient software enables users to create, delete, and rename their music stations, as well as add more tracks to their existing stations. Listeners can rate individual songs, temporarily block tracks, and even move them to different stations as per their preferences. The app also supports shared stations, allowing users to collaborate on curated playlists. Additionally, it integrates with Last.fm, enabling scrobbling functionality through an external scrobbler. Notably, pianobar offers proxy support, making it accessible to users outside of the United States
