What is PrivateBin?

PrivateBin is a web-based, open-source platform that enables users to securely share sensitive information without the service provider having any knowledge of the data's contents. The application leverages client-side encryption, utilizing 256-bit AES in Galois Counter mode, to ensure that the server maintains zero knowledge of the pasted data. This design philosophy is a fork of the original ZeroBin project, developed by Sbastien Sauvage, which has been refactored to facilitate easier and more seamless extensions, resulting in a substantially expanded feature set compared to the original. Importantly, PrivateBin retains full compatibility with the ZeroBin 0.19 data storage scheme, allowing for seamless upgrades from existing ZeroBin installations without any data loss
