What is Proximac?

The open-source command-line program Proxifier for Mac OS X allows users to route all network traffic or specific applications through a proxy server. This tool provides a flexible solution for managing internet connectivity, enabling users to direct data through a proxy server as needed. Similarly, Proximac is an open-source command-line alternative that can force applications to use a SOCKS5 proxy, forwarding their traffic to a specified proxy server. Proximac also offers the capability to redirect all network traffic in the system to a proxy, potentially eliminating the need for a VPN in certain use cases
