What is Pspice?

Cadence Pspice is a comprehensive circuit simulation software that enables users to model and analyze both analog and mixed-signal electronic circuits. The software provides a native environment for simulating the behavior of a wide range of electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors, diodes, voltage sources, and current sources. Users can input a text-based net-list file describing the circuit topology and the software will compute the resulting voltage and current values throughout the system. While a fully-featured version is available, a limited demo version is also offered that restricts the number of nodes and other capabilities

Highlights

  • Supports simulation of analog and mixed-signal circuits
  • Models a diverse set of electronic components
  • Accepts text-based net-list files as circuit input
  • Computes voltage and current values across the circuit
  • Offers both a full version and a restricted demo version
