What is PureText?

PureText is a lightweight (13Kb) Windows application that allows users to paste text without any formatting, using a customizable hotkey (default Win + V). The tool is particularly useful for copying text from web pages and offers a simple, straightforward user experience. Users can copy text as usual and then paste it using the designated shortcut key. PureText is a free, portable application that requires no installation. The tool removes rich formatting elements such as font face, font style, font color, paragraph settings, margins, character spacing, bullets, subscript, superscript, tables, charts, pictures, and embedded objects, while preserving the original text content. PureText is compatible with Windows NT and up to Windows 10, depending on the version used
