What is Quanta CMS?
Quanta is an open source, PHP-based Content Management System that avoids the use of a database, designed for developing next-generation web applications. Conceived and built by Aldo Tripiciano, an IT expert with over 15 years of experience in major open source PHP CMSs, Quanta takes a novel approach by implementing a flat-file architecture where all entities are stored as system folders and directories containing JSON files for metadata and other assets Quanta's file system-based architecture provides exceptional performance, leveraging an internal cached vocabulary-based indexation system to enable fast retrieval of content nodes. The use of native UNIX commands, such as "find", for most "queries" further enhances Quanta's efficiency, while its standardized approach simplifies disaster recovery procedures and makes it easy to distribute applications across multiple virtual machines
