What is Quassel IRC?

Quassel IRC is a distributed, cross-platform IRC client built using the Qt5 framework. The distributed architecture allows multiple clients to connect to and disconnect from a central core that remains online continuously, similar to the combination of the screen terminal multiplexer and a text-based IRC client like WeeChat, as well as so-called bouncers. This provides a seamless experience across devices and ensures your conversations persist even when you are offline
