What is Raddle?
Raddle is a web-based forum where users can submit links, pictures, posts, and engage in threaded discussions. Dissatisfied with the limitations and proprietary nature of existing link-sharing communities, the original Raddle platform was built using WordPress, but its creators recognized the need for a more feature-rich and customized solution. After about six months, the site was relaunched as a fully-featured open-source link-sharing platform, free from the bloat and issues of other similar platforms. Raddle's mission is to give users control over their own community, with a focus on transparency and accountability between moderators, administrators, and users Raddle maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against fascist ideas and bigotry, setting it apart from many other online communities. The platform is built and managed entirely by its own user community, following principles of mutual aid, direct democracy, user privacy and security, moderator transparency, and the use of free and open-source software
