What is RapidCRC?

RapidCRC is a Windows-based tool designed to efficiently check and create CRC32 and MD5 checksums. It supports a range of file formats, including SFV and MD5 files, and offers specialized functionality for handling CRC32 checksums within file names, a common practice in the anime release community. The application leverages the fastest available open-source assembly implementations for these checksum calculations, ensuring optimal performance. Specifically, it utilizes a one-byte table lookup for the CRC32 algorithm and the OpenSSL MD5 assembly implementation, providing reliable and expedient checksum verification. RapidCRC also includes a reference MD5 implementation from the RFC, though this is not used in the released version due to its slower performance
