What is Redshift ?

The app adjusts the color temperature of your device's screen in response to the position of the sun throughout the day. During twilight and early morning, the color temperature transitions smoothly from a lower night-time setting to a higher daytime setting, allowing your eyes to gradually adapt. At night, the color temperature is set to match the lamps in your room, typically in the range of 3000K-4000K. During the day, the color temperature is adjusted to match the natural light from outside, typically around 5500K-6500K, with a higher temperature on overcast days
